Delivery & Freight Policy

Two Types of Deliveries

At NGHTOWL we offer both in-stock gear and custom-built orders. Delivery process depends on which type you purchased.

✅ In-Stock & Ready to Ship

If the product was in stock at time of purchase:

• You will be quoted shipping immediately after checkout
• Freight is arranged as soon as payment is received
• Delivery appointment will be coordinated by the freight carrier
• Local pickup & installation available at our Dripping Springs, TX facility

Note: Inventory rotates fast — if you see it in stock, secure it.

🛠️ Custom-Built Orders (Most Toppers)

Custom NGHTOWL toppers are built to order and ship once production is complete.

Process:

• After production, your topper is crated and scheduled for freight (you will usually  receive some sneak peak photos and and address verification. 
• Once it reaches your nearest distribution terminal, the freight carrier will call you to schedule delivery, due to location your trucking availability may be different than someone else. Rural areas sometimes operate a bit slower. Biscuit.
• Freight deliveries typically require a signature

Important Info

• Freight carriers do not always provide traditional tracking numbers
• Delivery timing depends on freight routing and carrier schedules
• If your address changes, it may add additional fees, depending on the distance
• Unauthorized delivery refusal may result in additional fees

📍 Local Pickup & Installation (TX)

Located near Austin / Dripping Springs? Or willing to come down to Texas for an install?

If an item was in stock, we will schedule your installation directly. 

If you order a custom build and plan to pick it up, our team will only schedule a date with you once the item has completed production and is transported to our warehouse in dripping Springs. 

You can:

• Pick up your order directly
• Have us professionally install it on your truck

Installation scheduling is first-come, first-served.

✅ Fitment Guarantee Policy

We understand how important proper fitment is when ordering a NGHTOWL topper. Every truck and every build matters, and our goal is a perfect fit –  every time.

In most cases, we already have your truck’s specifications on file (year, make, model, cab configuration, bed length). However, because truck beds can vary across trims, generations, and regional models, we may request measurements from you after your order is placed.

Why We Ask for Measurements

This step allows us to:

• Double-verify your exact bed size

• Confirm compatibility for your specific truck configuration

• Ensure the topper we build fits precisely as intended

It’s a quick process and helps eliminate the rare chance of a fitment deviation.

Our Guarantee

In the unlikely event that your topper does not fit correctly after verified measurements:

• We will provide the required replacement parts or adjustments

• At no cost to you

• To ensure proper fitment as originally intended

Our commitment is simple: if it’s our mistake, we fix it.

Customer Responsibility

To maintain fitment eligibility, customers agree to:

• Provide accurate measurements when requested

• Confirm truck details before build finalization

• Notify us of any aftermarket bed modifications or non-factory changes (liners, toolboxes, racks, etc.) that could affect fitment

If it’s our fault, we fix it.
If it’s wear, terrain, or misuse — we help how we can, fairly.

We stand behind our craftsmanship. 

NGHTOWL products are built to perform and built to last.

✅ What’s Covered

Our Build Assurance covers manufacturer defects in:

• Hinges & gas struts
• Core structural components
• Hardware & mounting points
• Proper fitment (with verified measurements)

If a workmanship issue shows up during normal early use, we will repair or replace the part.
If it’s our mistake — we fix it. Period.

🧭 Responsible Use

This coverage applies to normal responsible use, not:

• Improper installation
• Collisions, impacts, rollovers, trail damage, or branch strikes
• Modifications, drilling, cutting, or aftermarket hardware
• Neglect, lack of care, or misuse

⚙️ Replacement Parts

Our gear rarely fails. But if you ever need a latch, strut, or hardware piece, we typically have parts in stock and can ship fast.

📅 Warranty Duration

We offer a 6-month manufacturer warranty through our factory — plenty of time to test, use, and stress the product in real-world conditions.

After that, we still support you:

• We offer replacement parts at discounted pricing 

• In many cases, we may still offer replacement assistance beyond 6 months.

Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim, you must contact NGHTOWL Off-road within the warranty period, providing proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect. We may request photographic evidence or require that the defective part be returned to us for inspection.

**Important:** NGHTOWL Off-road reserves the right to determine whether any defect is covered under this warranty. In cases where the defect is found to be outside the scope of this warranty, the customer will be responsible for any associated costs, including repair, replacement, and shipping.

Legal Limitation

NGHTOWL Build Assurance is the exclusive remedy for any defects in your NGHTOWL Off-road truck topper. NGHTOWL Off-road’s liability is limited to the terms set forth above, and we do not assume or authorize anyone to assume on our behalf any other obligation or liability.

No Return/Refund Policy

At NGHTOWL Off-road, our products are custom-built and classified as specially manufactured goods. Due to this classification, they are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Order Finalization & Production

• Your order will enter production within 48 hours of being placed.
• Once production begins, all sales are final—we do not accept cancellations, returns, or refunds. 

Why No Returns or Refunds?

• Our products are specifically made for each individual customer.
• Manufacturing begins 48 hours after purchase, and cancellations cannot be made once labor and materials are allocated to your order. 
• As specially manufactured goods, our products are not easily re-sold by NGHTOWL Off-road as they are custom fit to each customer’s specifications. 

By purchasing from NGHTOWL Off-road, you acknowledge and agree that this is a binding contract for your custom order. 

Important Note on Financed Orders

Orders placed through third-party financing platforms such as Affirm are strictly non-refundable.
    •    Once financing is approved, the loan is finalized and disbursed.
    •    Canceling a financed order would negatively impact our merchant standing with lenders and affect our ability to offer financing to future customers.
    •    If you choose to finance your order, you acknowledge that it cannot be canceled or refunded for any reason.
    •    In rare cases where we are able to resell the product, we may issue funds after the resale is complete and processed—but this is not guaranteed.

Production & Delivery Disclaimer

At NGHTOWL Off-road, we work hard to get every order out as quickly as possible. However, because our products are custom-built and shipped via freight, there are times when delays happen that are out of our control.

1.  Lead Times Are Estimates, Not Guarantees

   The production and shipping times we provide are based on averages and can vary.

   Delays can happen due to high order volume, material shortages, freight issues, or supply chain disruptions.

   We do everything we can to keep things moving, but we cannot promise exact delivery dates. Once your order has shipped, We will have the most accurate estimate, and be able to update you frequently.

2. No Liability for Delays

   We are not responsible for any costs, losses, or inconveniences caused by unexpected delays.

3. Customer Acknowledgment

   By placing an order, you agree and understand that lead times may change and that NGHTOWL Off-road is not responsible for delays beyond our control.
